German here! NSFW games are region locked in germany by default. Has been like this since forever afaik. So it's not just BB, but every other game where the main focus is sexual content. Some old ass german law that no one can get around. Also getting around region locks is impossible without risking your accunt getting banned, so that doesn't work either. We'll have to do with the ichio release :/
itchio is the only option germans have to buy the game if you don't care for patreon builds (afaik itchio version is always one patch behind on purpose). whenever the game is updated you can just redownload it from this page for free every time once you've bought it!

Yes. Mainly just background & menu changes I believe. The main menu image & the music loop are cool. No major changes though.

You can download the itch.io launcher, which will allow your game to update automatically just like Steam ✨
