yeah, you can, you need a decompiler for the goddot engine and the goddot engine, if you mean the tracks, then yes, there is a tool to create them, you get some reference from the discord and can also be helped by the community, other than that, installing the mods is easy as click and drag to a "mods" folder
you could try using an emulator of windows, for a mac port i think it'll take a long time, i could try to make a fanport, but jumping in again and installing all goddot files would drain me again
idk if it's just me but if feels like all my button presses are extremely delayed or they just flat out don't register most of the time. I'll press a button perfectly one time and then randomly miss it for no reason.

when you download the zip file and unpack it you should see the game folder in there is the game and other stuff in the game folder is a folder named "mods" in there you put the mods then you download the mods unpack them (a mod should be a folder named "sample mod" (for example) if the mod is not in e folder when unpacking put the files of the mod into a new folder (you should name it))then you start the game and the mods should be in the mods menu
I tried really hard, but i couldnt beat the first level, given its my first time playing a beat game, and im not good at them. but im trying and its just not even fun, in order to beat it I cant even try enjoying the artwork, but autoplay doesnt even let you progress so you cant enjoy the whole game with out beating each level. I really want to enjoy it, and the sound and art is good. but unless there is a level unlock command im not picking this back up and throwing it in the recycle bin.

You just need to put some practice into using your peripheral vision to "watch" the beat line while you look at the animation or vice versa
or you could press the "/" on the menu and put the code "handsfree"
